Christina Sandera, Clint Eastwood’s longtime companion and 33 years his junior, has passed away.
Sandera was 61 years old when she passed away. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Eastwood described Christina as a “wonderful and dear woman” and said he will “miss her greatly.”
No other details of Christina’s passing will be disclosed, according to his representative.
Christina Sandera’s tight friendship with the famous actor’s family was a defining feature of their relationship, which began in 2014. She frequently attended Clint’s premieres accompanied by his children.
They first crossed paths in Monterey, California, where Sandera was working as a hostess at Eastwood’s hotel.
Clint rescued Christina from her violent ex-husband, according to news outlets abroad. He said she was the only lady to ever reject him due to his celebrity. But he had no intention of marrying her.
Prior to his engagement with Christina, Eastwood was wed to journalist Dina Ruiz from 1996 to 2014.
His marriage to Maggie Johnson, which lasted until 1987, came before that. His numerous partnerships that received public attention extended far beyond these marriages. Noor Alfallah was one of his partners; she had a child with Al Pacino when he was older.
